What is Counselling?
Counselling provides a safe and confidential space to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns. It offers a dedicated time each week to focus on yourself. Your therapist will help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, enabling you to develop a better understanding of yourself and your relationships.
A counsellor will not give you their opinions or advice but will assist you in working through your issues. Sharing parts of your story can help you gain insight into your challenges and make better sense of your experiences.
Counselling can support you through a range of challenges, whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, loss, shame, or struggles with self-esteem. You might be navigating a difficult life event or feeling overwhelmed without knowing why. Whatever you’re going through, you don’t have to face it alone.
If you're unsure whether counselling is right for you, we can have a conversation about what’s happening and how I can help. Just get in touch, and we can take it from there.
I provide a non-judgemental and supportive space where you can explore whatever feels important to you, at your own pace. Counselling is not about being given advice—it’s about being heard, validated and having the time and support to make sense of your experiences.
I offer short, medium, and long-term therapy, depending on your needs. Sessions take place in Wokingham or online. If you’d like to find out more, I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss how we might work together.
